Kekekekeke i finally got through the bulk of my vacation photo organization!! There were a bunch of duplicates and motion blurred pics and whatnot so i had to be pretty picky when deciding which ones to keep. I took a lot of Boston night scene pics and only 4 made the cut.
I was in the hotel's shuttle van when taking this. Every time there was a red light, my camera was at the ready.
Boston has a lot of one way roads compared to what I'm used to. We had to ask for directions every day
Well, I live in the suburbs, actually, but I'm near Worcester, which is a crappy city. And I spend some amount of time in Boston, (mostly for day trips) but I spend most of my time when I'm not home in Providence. So... I don't live in the city, but I'm in the city a lot. xD
I honestly love the city. I think when I'm older I'll want to quiet down and live out in the country somewhere, but I love city life right now. I like taking subways the best.

Boston's subway system was so confusing to me cuz the public transport back where I came from was much more simple. We had to ask for directions all the time and even got on the wrong train once

Yeah, despite the aggressive drivers and small fraction of extremely rude people, its a really nice place to visit. Did you get to go to any of the historical places?
i went to mostly art museums and the common tourist locations, like the swan boats at the Common and the Independence Trail (at least that's what i think it's called) [link] I also went to see Harvard and the MIT museum over at Cambridge. The transit system confused me

Harvard Square! That's a fun place to be, on a good day. Sometimes they have performers and artists there; it's pretty cool. Haha! Yeah, the MBTA can be confusing if you're not used to it. I get really confused when I go to New York. The Independence Trail... is that the one with the red bricks or something like that? If you ever come back, I recommend going to (if you're interested in history) the Faneuil Hall Marketplace, the Quincy Market, or Paul Revere's house (be warned the ceilings are quite low). I wouldn't recommended eating at the Quincy Market thought, because some of the restaurants there overcharge- since it's a tourist attraction. Or, if you like shopping, You could go to Copley Square or the Prudential Center There's also the The Boston Public Library, which has some pretty cool architecture (as does the Trinity Church), and that has some beautiful painting and statues inside as well.
anyway, sorry for writing... like, an entire brochure...
lol i've seen most of the places you mentioned, except for the library, Trinity church, and some of the marketplaces (though I did see a few). I've been to Copley Square, the stores are great. The Independence Trail is the one with the red brick path. Since Boston's sidewalks have red bricks, it's a bit hard to follow at times since the shades of red only differ slightly. It has a lot of historical places and markets on the way.
lol no probs, this is easier to remember than the stuff on a brochure I do hope i can see the other stuff I missed out on if I get the chance to go back

It's not half as lively where I live.
